The LM393 3-Pin Photosensitive Sensor Module is a reliable and efficient light detection module designed for smart electronics and automation projects. Built around the LM393 voltage comparator and LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), it accurately detects changes in ambient light intensity and delivers a digital output signal.

How it works…?

  1. Module light conditions or light intensity reach the set threshold, DO port output high when the external ambient light intensity exceeds a set threshold and the module’s D0 output low when the external ambient light intensity below a set threshold.
  2. Digital output D0 directly connected to the MCU, and detect high or low TTL, thereby detecting ambient light intensity changes.
  3. Digital output module DO  can directly drive the relay module, which can be composed of a photoelectric switch
