KY-033 IR Sensor Module
The KY-033 IR Sensor Module, also known as the Infrared Line Tracking Sensor Module, is an efficient and reliable component designed to detect black and white contrast or infrared reflective surfaces. This module features an infrared emitting diode paired with a photodiode receiver, which senses the reflection of infrared light from the surface below. When placed over a white surface, the light is reflected back to the sensor, while a black surface absorbs it — allowing the module to distinguish between the two.
Built with a high-quality LM393 comparator, the KY-033 provides stable digital output and adjustable sensitivity through its onboard potentiometer. The module also features power and signal indicator LEDs for easy visual feedback during setup and operation.
