Digital D-2260 IC Tester / Detector Meter
The Digital D-2260 IC Tester / Detector Meter is a practical testing instrument for electronics technicians, repair professionals, engineers, students, and serious hobbyists. It is designed to help identify and test a wide selection of commonly used integrated circuits and semiconductor components without requiring a separate tester for every device type.
The D-2260 supports 3.3V, 5V, and Auto test modes, allowing the appropriate testing voltage to be selected according to the component being checked. It supports several widely used logic families, including 74HC, 74LS, CD4000, HEF400, and 4500 series ICs, as well as operational amplifiers and interface devices.
The tester can also automatically identify NPN and PNP transistors, FETs, SCRs, and transistor pin configurations. It supports testing of optocouplers and can recognize the voltage value of suitable voltage regulator devices. The built-in database contains more than 1,300 IC/device models and over 420 transistor data models, covering many commonly used devices with up to 24 pins.
A 1602 LCD display provides the test information, while the compact handheld enclosure makes the instrument convenient for workshop and field use. The tester operates from two AA 1.5V batteries on the commonly listed version and includes an automatic shutdown function after approximately 60 seconds without operation.
The D-2260 is especially useful for quickly checking suspected components during PCB repair, maintenance, prototyping, and electronic equipment troubleshooting.
